Our Story

Our story is the story of the gospel. It is the story of God in love with his people. It is the story of a God-become-human-in-Jesus Christ. In whose life, death and resurrection, we are restored back to God, his and our Father! This is the Old and New Testament story. We re-tell it in our world in word and deed. The STORY has become our story. We are called to address our own little stories by living the STORY radically and differently for our day and times. Join the movement ! A famous philosopher once said:

“Neither revolution nor reformation can ultimately change a society, rather you must tell a new powerful tale, one so persuasive that it sweeps away the old myths and becomes the preferred story, one so inclusive that it gathers all the bits of our past and our present into a coherent whole, one that even shines some light into the future so that we can take the next step… If you want to change a society, then you have to tell an alternative story.” (Ivan Illich)

Ours is an alternative story. And as such we are highly biblical. Highly gospel & Christo-centric. We are highly apostolic in culture and intentionally missional.

At GospelLife we are passionate about Jesus and people. We Love Jesus and we Love People. Grounded in the Gospel about Jesus Christ, we believe that God is actively moving in people’s lives and intends that the Gospel of his salvific grace and love go viral in every generation. We therefore seek to spread the life of God to every sector of the society.

We are a family that is composed of people who come from different socio-political and religious backgrounds and life experiences. But what has brought us together is the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ! We therefore care for everyone – the young, the old and children. And so, whether you feel confused, or have been frustrated, castigated, abused or even burned by religion or you have made small or big mistakes in life, or you feel your life at this moment is sorted out, or you haven’t even been to a church in years -or ever – we invite you to join us. You matter to Jesus. And therefore, you matter to GospelLife! We want you to have a life-giving and fun-filled relationship with the living God and his family through his Son, Jesus Christ.

What to Expect

GospelLife is home. A family for your spiritual journey. But also, a place that will challenge you along the way to be like Jesus. Here are some things we would like you to know about us:

  • Word-based beliefs and doctrine
Many people who have become part of our family have testified that they have come to love GospelLife because it’s a place where preach, teach, and live the truth of the word of God. This is our commitment.
  • A missional lifestyle
Everyone at GospelLife is equipped theologically, philosophically and practically to live and share their faith with the people God has placed around them, including in the marketplace. We are equipped to love Jesus and people even in our very normal vocational jobs and careers.
  • Mobilized to serve
Every member of our community is encouraged and provided with an opportunity to display the love and life of Christ both in our church family and the society at large. We want to meet the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of the people God brings around us. That is worship!
  • A Culture of sonship
Those who have come to faith in Jesus have become sons of God. And therefore, live and practice their sonship with the family of God. Here they are committed to become more like Jesus through obeying, serving and sharing Jesus. As disciples of Christ they are representative (witness) of christ. At GospelLife we desire that each of our family members would become a true son of God, who like Jesus himself is completely and entirely raptured by the vision and will of God and is ready to accomplish it in their lives for they expire.
  • A Gospel-movement
Usually a Gospel-movement occurs when the gospel itself is re-discovered, lifted up, understood and becomes a dynamic power that changes lives and the society. GospelLife is that kind of a Gospel-movement!
